And...Gillian Flynn is an extremely talented writer. And Gone Girl is one of my top 5 books of all time. Can't put it down, page-turner, all the cliches apply. I'm not sure how I would have ended the book. Endings are tough. You are subject to criticism no matter what you do. Nevertheless, this was a fantastic read, funny, witty, often surprising, never boring.
