It's that time of the week!

Book Blogger Hop
Every week Jennifer at Crazy-for-Books (http://www.crazy-for-books.com/) hosts a blog hop. Put your link in, post a comment and you can discover a lot of great blogs. Make sure you leave a comment on the blogs you find it helps drive up traffic for my fellow book bloggers. The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week. This week's question/task: Post a link to a favorite post or book review that you have written in the past three months. Hmmmmmmmmmm! I have to think on that one.........(Jeopardy theme music )playing in my head).........(more thoughts of Jeopardy)............(I've never been good at Jeopardy).....I think I got it. Recently, I let my 10-year-old brother post on my blog. (http://asiturnthepages.blogspot.com/2010/09/guest-post-courtesy-of-my-little.html) Obviously, I didn't write the post, but it's been so long since I've seen him read a book. He thinks reading is for girls, despite what I tell him. It took money, to get him to read a book outside of school. Regardless of the method, I'm glad he read something!

Here are a few blogs I came across:

Notes: Reviews of The Insider by Reece Hirsch and Everything is Going to be Great by Rachel Shukert are coming soon!! Stay tuned! Happy reading everyone!

  10. Hi! I'm a new follower from the hop, I'm actually number 101! :) I think it's great that you encouraged your brother to read and that you let him post on your blog - it's awesome by the way! I'm a teacher so I think it's super important for kids to be reading. If he likes Wayside School there are others in the series, there is a little bit easier series called My Weird School by Dan Gutman. Or what about Roald Dahl? Love him!
